Apricot Apple Crumble

Ingredients:
Filling:
- 1 cup apricot nectar
- 1 package (6 ounces) dried apricots,chopped
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons lemon peel
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 8 cups tart apples, sliced
Topping:
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup quick oats (not instant)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup Mazola® Corn Oil
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Combine apricot nectar, dried apricots, honey, maple syrup, and lemon
peel in a medium bowl. Add flour, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and cardamom. - Place apples in a 13×9-inch baking dish; spoon apricot mixture over apples.
For Topping:
- Combine all topping ingredients in a medium bowl. Sprinkle over fruit.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until topping mixture is golden brown.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped topping, if desired. Store leftovers in
refrigerator.
