Deep Fried Pasta Chips
With Mazola® Corn Oil

Ingredients:
- 1 package of bowtie pasta (450g)
- 4 cups of Mazola Corn Oil
- ½ cup of grated parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp of dried oregano
- ½ tsp of dried basil
- ½ tsp of dried parsley
- 2 tsp of garlic powder
- ¼ tsp of sea salt
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of chilli flakes (optional)
- 1 cup of your favourite marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions:
- Add pasta to a large pot of salted boiling water.
- Cook until just al dente, approx. 7 minutes.
- Line a large baking sheet with a dishcloth and set aside.
- Drain pasta and spread out onto the lined baking sheet. Cover with another dishcloth and gently press to absorb all the moisture. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- In a deep fryer or large deep skillet, heat corn oil over medium heat. The oil is ready when you insert a wooden skewer and it bubbles around it.
- Fry pasta one cup at a time until golden brown, approx. 1-2 minutes.
- While still warm, toss with parmesan cheese, herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Serve with your favourite marinara sauce.
